8 Ways to Repurpose Beer Bottles
If you’re like the staff at Funky Picnic, you’ve gone through your fair share of beer in your life. Each of those empty glass bottles either ended up in the recycling or trash bin, only to be used one single time. Instead of disposing your next empty case of bottles, consider repurposing them to not only be an advocate for the environment, but to gain some practical use out of them! Whether you walk away with a new vase or some new coasters, those beer bottles will sure add a little bit of funk in your life!
Repurpose Beer Bottles
Herb Planters
What better way to add to your kitchen windowsill than some fresh herb planters (but in beer bottles!) Grab your favorite herbs you use in your meals and construct your very own hydroponic planter. YES- this really is just like those expensive self-watering planters, just in DIY form!
Goblets
Create some royal cups for your guests and transform an empty beer bottle into a beer bottle goblet. Ideal for themed parties and anyone you want to treat as royalty in your household. ( This is THE perfect project for St. Patrick’s Day if you have green bottles!)
Lights
Does your outdoor patio need new lights? Is your space not “hip” enough? Don’t fret- your empty beer bottles can be reconstructed into cozy outdoor lights to brighten up your space. Just add some holiday lights into the bottle and string them along the backyard to give that warm, inviting glow.
Coasters
